Shrimp with Peas

This one is my own concoction - I don't have set amounts. I just heap the ingredients as I please. I make this when I have shrimps and am just too lazy to cook them in style. This dish takes about ten minutes, very easy to do and quite delicious actually.

  • shrimps, unshelled or you can buy them cooked already with tails on, maybe a pound or two
  • garlic, crushed
  • medium onion, sliced
  • frozen peas
  • salt and pepper
  • vegetable oil

Saute garlic and onion in vegetable oil until onion is transparent. Add shrimp and continue sauteing until they are tender. Add peas, simmer covered. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with steamed rice.
