You can now buy singkamas in big grocery chain stores here in the US. Its Mexican name is jicama so
there is no reason why you won't be able to make this. It is very easy to do.
singkamas (jicama)
white vinegar
salt (asin)
Peel jicama. Slice peeled jicama into thin slices. Add the vinegar and sprinkle with salt. Refrigerate
and serve cold. It is a very refreshing salad. You can also just bite on the plain jicama after making
sawsaw (dip) to the asin and vinegar.
You can also add jicama slices to green salads to add a little bit of edge to your salad.
